Fort Bend County officials recently launched a new initiative to assist minority and disadvantaged businesses negatively affected by COVID-19 related challenges.“Small businesses are the backbone of any community in our country and Fort Bend County is no different, County Judge KP George said at a press conference announcing the new initiative Thursday, July 23. “We realize a lot of small business owners put their life savings into their business and the last four or five months they’ve been struggling.”
